Dear John,

I wanted to be sure you saw my team’s new email! This week, we are talking about one of my close friends, Susan Wild.

Susan and I both won special elections in 2018 and became the largest women delegation to represent Pennsylvania in Congress in years. Honestly, I cannot imagine navigating the insanity of that moment in political history without her.

After winning alongside Congresswoman Wild and learning firsthand what it means for women to support other women in spaces where they are often overlooked, I was determined to pass that support to more women running for office – not just in PA, but across all 50 states.

That’s why I founded A Woman’s Place, so we can direct funds to women running for Congress all year round. Ready to join our mission?

Dear John,

Throughout the year, A Woman’s Place supports women ready to make history and helps get them elected to office. Last year, we endorsed 17 women candidates – and all of them are serving in Congress right now.

This Women’s History Month, we’re continuing to highlight the candidates we were able to help put in office last cycle that continue to make history today! We’re thrilled for you to get to know Pennsylvania’s fabulous Rep. Susan Wild.

About Her District

In 2018, Susan Wild was one of four women in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to make history by being a part of the largest women's delegation elected from Pennsylvania - ever!

This cycle, there is more pressure on Rep. Susan Wild with new district maps the GOP made more red. With her primary election only 2 months away, Susan Wild is not fazed as she continues to deliver for voters and reach out to her new neighbors!

Why She Ran

Rep. Wild built her campaign on ideals of fighting for working-class families – something she had long been doing through her legal career.

In 2015, she was appointed as the first female solicitor of Allentown, Pennsylvania, a role in which she served until she made her way to Congress.

Leadership in Action

Congresswoman Susan Wild sits on the Education and Labor Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she continues to advocate for working-class families and their futures.

More recently, Rep. Wild secured a greener fleet of public transit with the goal of bringing electric vehicles (EV) funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to her constituents. Her accomplishments have made tangible progress on cutting air pollution and bringing hundreds of good-paying jobs to Pennsylvania.

Susan Wilds' continued commitment to serve her constituents proves that we need more leaders like her in Congress. She’s practical, smart, and hard working. We are proud to support Rep. Wild as she fights to uplift working-class families in her district and beyond.

At A Woman’s Place, we believe that we need more women like Congresswoman Susan Wild in positions of leadership to make history.

If you agree, donate now so that we can support women like Susan Wild running nationwide!
