Dear John,

On Monday March 14th at 4PM CT / 5PM ET we are gathering together with our siblings in Cleveland, OH to kick off the Ohio leg of our Mass Poor People's & Low-Wage Workers' Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls Mobilization Tour.

The priorities and demands of poor and low-wealth Ohioans and neighbors will be front and center as we continue to demonstrate the political and moral power of those most impacted by the policy violence of the US Congress and state houses.

During the livestream, we'll be joined by speakers who are directly impacted by the policy violence of the U.S. Congress in Ohio.  Alongside these poor and working class Ohioans, we'll be joined by faith leaders and other moral voices from the community who demand this nation do MORE to live up to its moral call and end the interlocking injustices of systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation and the denial of health care, militarism and the war economy and the false moral narrative of religious nationalism.

These interlocking injustices are not only a moral affront to the people of this nation, but are an existential threat to the future of poor and low wage workers in this country. The only way forward is confronting this evil head-on with an organized mass movement. It is time to speak up and make things clear: this system is killing us and we refuse to be silent any more.

We know that our Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls on June 18, 2022 “is NOT just a day of action. It is a declaration of an ongoing, committed moral movement to 1) Shift the moral narrative; 2) Build power; and 3) Make real policies to fully address poverty and low wealth from the bottom up.” - Bishop Barber and Rev. Theoharis, Co-Chairs.

Please join us Monday at 4PM CT / 5PM ET, sharing the online stream with your networks and on social media: www.poorpeoplescampaign.org/livestream

Forward together, not one step back!
