According to pre-primary campaign finance reports, the three Texas races with the greatest contributions ([link removed]) -- specifically the battles to be the next Texas Governor, Attorney General, and Lieutenant Governor -- account for 56 percent of all donations to Texas candidates in the 2022 cycle so far. The pre-primary reports to the TEC reflect all contributions and expenditures through February 19, 2022, eight days before the Texas primaries.
