Friend, I'm following up to make sure you saw the survey I sent around on Wednesday.

Now that we're officially in the full swing of the election year, our campaign is scaling up our operation, which is why I need all hands on deck. However, I'm still looking for another 34 members of this grassroots team to share their input before my upcoming meeting this evening – and your response is missing.

Hearing what's on YOUR mind is essential to building a laser-focused campaign strategy that will protect Senate control and deliver progress for the American people. So please, with my next strategy meeting coming up, can you please make sure you've submitted your feedback? Click here to take our election-year focus group (only takes about 45 seconds!) right now.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your input. It's a great help.

Friend,

At his first State of the Union address, President Biden spoke with sincerity, decency, and honesty. It was a welcome change of pace from what we'd become accustomed to hearing when Donald Trump was the one addressing Congress.

But I'll be blunt: The threat of Donald Trump is still alive and well in this country. The Republican Party is clinging to Trump and his dangerous agenda – amplifying his lies and obstructing any efforts to investigate his potential criminal actions. With the crisis in Ukraine expanding globally and leadership needed at home to uphold the integrity of our democracy, we cannot hand Senate control back to the GOP.

Yet with the Senate split 50-50, we have zero margin for error. That's why my campaign is scaling up its efforts to protect this crucial seat and keep the Senate in Democratic hands. With two new resourced and established Republican opponents, my race is heating up, and attacks have begun. I need your input right away to help shape my response.

I need to know what's on your mind – because feedback from supporters like you is the key to winning this race and keeping Trumpism at bay.

That's why I'm personally asking: Will you take just a moment to let me know what issues matter most to you this election year? Your input helps ensure that your priorities are at the center of my work.

I know that you hear from me a lot about the stakes of defending our Senate majority. It's because I've seen the harm and obstruction of a Mitch McConnell-led Senate firsthand – the dire consequences for people's livelihoods and most basic rights.

I am here to serve you – to make sure your voices are heard and your priorities are fought for. But my willingness to stand up against the Republican Party has made me a target. I know I can only ensure the balance of power in the Senate is about you if I have the best possible campaign strategy – powered by people like you.

So please, will you share your input in our official campaign survey? I'm looking for 350 more members of this team to submit their feedback before my team's next strategy meeting on Friday morning.

With gratitude,

Dick
