John,

Virginia is the greatest state in the country for many reasons. We’re home to the world’s largest naval base. We have over 100 colleges and universities. We have the most miles of the Appalachian Trail. More presidents were born in our Commonwealth than any other state in the nation. There are so many things that make us proud to call Virginia home.

And, not only do we have the most presidents who were born in our commonwealth, but we’re also making new history with incredible leaders like Winsome Sears who is the first female of color elected as lieutenant governor.

Whether you were born here or moved here, there are many reasons to be proud Virginians. I am grateful to represent the 6th Congressional District, and I will never stop working to make sure our state remains the best place to live, work, and play.
