Dear John,

Today marks the 2nd Anniversary of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Exactly two years ago, we were all faced with one of the most challenging events of our lifetimes. An event that changed and will continue to change humanity.

So far, over 6 million people have died due to COVID-19 worldwide (new estimates point to a much higher number around 20 million deaths). Omicron contributed to 3 million deaths in the past 3 months alone.

New COVID-19 variants continue to emerge. The pandemic is not over. One person at risk anywhere means that we are all at risk everywhere.

We must vaccinate and protect everyone.

What’s the problem?

Big Pharma holds a monopoly over COVID-19 vaccines Official records estimate that pharmaceutical companies are making $1 million per hour while billions remain without adequate access to vaccines and therapeutics worldwide.

On the second anniversary of the pandemic, I am asking you to join the global effort for vaccine justice. We must call on our governments, world leaders, and local champions to act!

What are we asking for?

We are asking world leaders to stand with the people, not Big Pharma, and finally end this pandemic. We must #EndCOVIDMonopolies and stop the highly racist assumption that countries of the Majority World don’t have the capacity to produce their own vaccines.

All world leaders must:

1. Break COVID patents.

2. Share vaccine formulas.

3. Fund global production
