As the Senate’s only computer programmer, fighting to close the digital divide is personal to me. Broadband internet is vital in today’s digital world, and serves as a lifeline for rural communities.

There is no question that in 2019, everyone in Nevada and across the country should have access to a quality broadband internet, but far too many people still aren’t connected.

In the Senate, I’m working across the aisle and sponsoring several bills, most recently the bipartisan Broadband Parity Act, to help close the digital divide in all of our communities.
