Friends — every elected official brings their personal life experience to the job. This experience helps inform and frame decisions, for better or for worse.

For me, a lot of the important lessons I learned came from being a single dad raising two daughters. I experienced the joys of parenthood and the responsibilities.

Whether helping my two daughters with their homework or driving them to and from school, nothing was more important than being their dad. And, like every parent, I worried when my children became sick, doing everything I could to help them get better while stressing over how to cover all our costs.

So I come at this job with a real appreciation of the challenges Nevada families face each day, balancing home, school, and work in a world where costs just keep going up.

That’s why, as governor, I’ve worked hard to raise the minimum wage, increase access to affordable health care, create clean jobs, and fund public education at an unprecedented level.

Now, Friends , as I run for another term as your governor, I’m up against a field of MAGA opponents who want to stop the progress we’re making. I need your help to ensure we have what it takes to overcome them.

Friends, I’m used to hard fights. I put myself through college, moved to Nevada, raised two daughters, and started my business. I know that nothing worthwhile in life comes easy.
