As President Biden spoke about his late son Beau, whom he lost to brain cancer, during his State of the Union Address, Rep. Lauren Boebert screamed and heckled him.
She turned her back as President Biden entered the House chamber. As other members of Congress wore Ukrainian flag pins or colors to show solidarity, Boebert showed up in a “drill baby drill” shawl.
It’s no wonder Boebert refuses to respect or recognize President Biden as legitimate. 147 Republicans like Reps. Lauren Boebert and Jay Obernolte voted to overturn Biden’s election.
Although she may be the loudest, Lauren Boebert isn’t the only extremist in Congress.
Jay Obernolte voted with Lauren Boebert against the January 6 committee. They vote in lockstep against voting rights, reproductive rights, and bold action on climate change.
