Hi John,

I know my team has been emailing you this weekend with updates on our fundraising goal, and now it’s my turn to reach out and make an ask.

My team just informed me that we’re $340 away from hitting our goal today, and since I was number 34 back in college at Baylor (sic ‘em!) -- I know we can make it.

Will you help my me close the gap with a $34 donation this evening? We’re in a tough re-election campaign right now and we could use all the help you can give.

Thank you,

Colin

Subject: getting back on track

Hi John,

Yesterday, our finance team filled you in on our November fundraising progress so far. To put it frankly, we’re pretty far behind.

To keep us on track to meet our monthly goal, we need $2,364 by tomorrow night. Can we count on you to step up with a donation now, John?

We’re so proud of the support our grassroots campaign has received so far, and we wouldn’t be asking for you to step up now if we didn’t really need your help.

Colin is working day and night, fighting for the working and middle class families of North Texas. Whether he’s fighting for affordable, accessible health care, implementing measures to create good jobs, or ensuring that all the kids in North Texas have access to a quality education, Colin was born and raised in this community and he always puts North Texans first.

To keep Colin in Washington fighting for us, we need to make sure we have the resources we need to run a strong, comprehensive campaign and fight off the attacks sure to come our way from powerful lobbyists and special interests.

We need to get back on track with our goal to keep our campaign on the right path. Can we count on you to help us get back on track?
