Now that we've officially made it onto the ballot – all thanks to grassroots supporters like you – I wanted to take a quick step back to talk about what's at stake here in Iowa and what's ahead for our campaign.

You see, Sen. Grassley has spent the last 47 years in Washington pushing his extremist agenda and failing families back here in Iowa. He's voted against affordable health care, against protections for unions, against our right to choose and against working-class families like mine. We must defeat him to give Iowa the leader it deserves and expand our Senate majority so that we can truly deliver for American families.

Thankfully, this year, we have an incredible opportunity to do just that. Iowans are fed up with Sen. Grassley's failed leadership and his far-right agenda. Voters here are turning against him like never before: he's facing record-low approval ratings, and experts at The Hill are calling this a "tough race" for him.

As I’ve traveled across the state, I’ve seen how vulnerable he is firsthand. The momentum is building, and we have a real chance at retiring Chuck Grassley this November.

John, we are building a movement, and I know that we can flip this seat blue and finally show Sen. Grassley the door with you on our team. But we have to keep the grassroots pressure up – Republicans have $41.6 MILLION in the bank to take back the Senate and defeat challengers like me. We've got to be ready to counter GOP spending and far-right attacks.

Now that we're officially on the ballot, we've entered a critical stage of this campaign.
