[1]Justice Democrats
John, this is
huge!
Two years ago if you had said that Justice Democrats would be represented
in TIME Magazine’s top 100 rising stars, it would have been hard to
imagine. But this past week we got official word that our very own
executive director, Alexandra Rojas, made the list!
Under Alexandra’s leadership, JD has fielded an exciting and competitive
slate of Democratic challengers in 2020. Together, we’re building a
movement to elect diverse, working-class Democrats who listen to voters
not corporate donors.
But even though we have incredible teammates like Alexandra, we know that
we can’t do any of this work without your support. That’s why we’re asking
today.

use helping us transform the Democratic Party and our country.

Read this incredible clip from the TIME piece on Alexandra:
As executive director of Justice Democrats, Alexandra Rojas and her team recruit
and train primary challengers—often young, working-class people of color—to
unseat less progressive incumbents. In 2018, they helped elect what’s now known
as the Squad: Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida
Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley. Now Rojas is working to turn that momentum into more
electoral power by building a bench of young progressives in Congress. So far,
her group has endorsed eight new candidates running for congressional seats in
2020, including 26-year-old immigration attorney Jessica Cisneros, who has
already raised more than seven times Ocasio-Cortez’s 2017 total.
We’re SO inspired and ready to fight for more big wins in 2020. [ [link removed] ]Make a
monthly contribution to Justice Democrats now so we can build our power.
Thank you, as always, for being in this fight with us.
