We stand with the people of Bolivia and oppose the military coup.
On November 10, elected Bolivian President Evo Morales was forced to resign under personal threats to violence by the Bolivian military. This was a blatant encroachment of military force into Brazilian democracy.
The coup in Bolivia fits a 70-year pattern across Latin America. Democracies have fallen in both Bolivia and Brazil in the last year alone.

The CIA has admitted to overthrowing left-wing democracies in the past. It is critical that Congress investigate the likely role of the CIA in these coups.
