Have you signed our petition yet, John?

Race-based hair discrimination starts in school and continues on in the workplace, with long lasting impacts on Black children and adults.

Research shows that a majority of Black children face race-based hair discrimination in schools — from school policies targeted at Black hair, to microaggressions made by teachers and other students.

But despite all this, House Republicans recently voted down Barbara’s bill to end hair discrimination, which disproportionately impacts Black women.

Barbara’s more determined than ever to keep up the fight to overcome Republican obstruction and end hair discrimination — and she’s counting on you to stand with her.

Sign her petition to help our campaign build grassroots support for moving one step closer toward stamping out racism and discrimination in all its forms. [[link removed]]

Black hair is beautiful. It’s time to shift the conversation about natural hair and end race-based discrimination in all its forms.

Thank you,
