For generations, small and mid-sized farms reliably fed people, and cared for the environment and animals. But factory farms upended this relationship. Today, legal and policy failures have allowed a handful of giant corporations — like Smithfield, JBS and Tyson — to keep a stranglehold on our food system, while treating animals horribly. Animals don’t belong on factory farms. Join our campaign against factory farms by making a donation now. Together we can stop factory farming once and for all!

John,

Factory farm chickens don’t wake up at dawn like they normally should… because they’ve never actually seen daylight. No windows, nowhere to roam free, nowhere to rest peacefully, packed by the thousands and bred to reach full size at just five weeks old. They can barely support their weight and live in their own excrement until their last day.

Every day, millions of chickens suffer in factory farms because giant food corporations prioritize profit over animal health and wellbeing — which also creates health risks for our communities and drives family farms out of business. This has to stop!

Big Ag and factory farms make us sick! But with your generous support, together we can get rid of factory farms.

Food & Water Watch has been challenging Big Ag and advocating for a safer, more humane food system for more than 15 years. We need to build a food system that not only allows family farms and rural economies to prosper, but also respects animal welfare. We won’t rest until factory farming is banned once and for all. Will you join us by donating $30 or any amount to Food & Water Watch?

John, last year Senator Cory Booker and Representative Ro Khanna reintroduced legislation that would ban new and expanding factory farms and will phase out existing facilities. Our policy team and organizers are hard at work, at every level, pushing this legislation. This would mark a huge step in the process of getting rid of factory farms. But for our teams to be able to do their work and succeed, we need your support. Your gift and generosity is what helps us win. Will you donate now?
