LBR voted last month to pass a critical bill out of the House that will lower the costs that families face and lead to even further job growth: the America COMPETES Act.

President Biden spoke at length about this legislation during his State of the Union address – it's a key part of the agenda we must pass to build a better America.

Now it's time for the Senate to act. Will you sign on to urge the Senate to quickly take up the America COMPETES Act and pass it into law?

The America COMPETES Act does several key things:

-It enhances our country's ability to manufacture more at home by investing in critically-needed semiconductors
-It will strengthen our supply chain and help Americans better afford the goods they buy
-By growing our manufacturing capacity, it will create more good-paying union jobs
-It adds important funding to our STEM workforce programs – so America can continue to lead the way in innovation

Lower costs, more jobs, and better sciences are things we should all be able to get behind. So let's make sure the Senate hears our voice and passes this bill as soon as possible!
