Team Future Forum here with an update on one of our members on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) 2022 Frontline Program List. Today, we’re spotlighting another member from the East Coast: Rep. Antonio Delgado (NY-19).

Rep. Delgado is a fierce advocate for working families. Here’s a headline on some of his recent work:

As part of the emergency funding for housing in the American Rescue Plan that Rep. Delgado provided a critical vote for, he continues his work helping working families in his district. He recently announced a special project that will add much-needed emergency housing capability for families in Ulster County.

In this year’s election, he currently faces two Republican challengers, including Marc Molinaro, a former candidate for New York Governor’s office. In the past, Molinaro has openly worked with Delgado, but after jumping in the race, he repeatedly claimed that Rep. Delgado has never really stood up for the district.

Despite what Molinaro may say, Rep. Delgado has fought for the region day in and out and consistently achieves meaningful results. He had 12 bills signed into law under both Democratic and Republican administrations and, as a result, secured over $400 million in direct support for the counties he proudly represents.
