It’s Chris, Alessandra’s campaign manager. I made a very difficult decision yesterday during our team's budget meeting. I approved a $10,000 expenditure where we’d only budgeted $5,000.

The primary for NY-3 is heating up, and it’s become clear that in order to keep organizing across NY-3 — from Westchester to Long Island — we're going to need to scale up our investments in digital organizing and advertising to win.

The money wasn’t in the Q1 budget, but I gave the green light anyway.

It was a risk, for sure. But right now, we need to do everything we can to show the people of this district that Alessandra is the best choice for NY-3. It’s a crowded primary, and we need to stand out.

So I made a bet that if I asked, supporters like you would help fill the $5,000 gap. And I’m really hoping you will. For Alessandra, our team, and everyone who agrees that to make progress in Congress, we need to elect better Democrats.
