From The Washington Post → "the tumultuous past two years of American politics have made the job of secretary of state arguably a risky one — and one that’s suddenly coveted by both political parties."

As a result, there is more attention now on Secretary of State contests than ever before.

Dark money groups and our opponents are playing the long game with these races and are assessing that "the winners, in most cases, will be strategically placed to supervise the 2024 presidential contest."

While the partisan interest in Secretaries of State is understandable, I won't let the Office of Minnesota Secretary State become a partisan perch.
