Almost one year has passed since Rana Abdelhamid launched her campaign for
Congress, and Justice Democrats have been behind her since day 1.

The daughter of working-class Egyptian immigrants, Rana knows the pain
caused by rising rents, gentrification, and a system that benefits
landlords and developers over working-class people. Rana is running a
community-centered campaign. That is why she has the support of local
organizers, community leaders, the Working Families Party, and Justice
Democrats.

The difference between Rana and her opponent could not be more clear.
Carolyn Maloney is backed by real estate developers, Wall Street CEOs, and
has represented New York in Congress for as long as Rana’s been alive.

don’t reflect the working-class people that she represents.
