Less than a year ago, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a bill into law that requires all Alabama athletes in K-12 to compete in sports based on sex assigned at birth — effectively banning trans children from competing.

Just last week, two anti-trans bills passed state House committees – one makes it a felony to provide healthcare to trans youth and the other empowers and forces school personnel to out trans youth, even if outing results in abuse or neglect.

GWP Family, we need you to step up and protect trans youth. ACLU Alabama is currently running a campaign with a clear message to Alabama elected officials: trans youth belong here. Join their call to action here.
