Some people may think that it’s crazy for a non-profit law firm to take on
Twitter – a nearly $4 Billion company with unlimited resources – in court. But
there is a critically important reason why… 

 

Why we’re taking on the likes of Gov. Gavin Newsom and Sen. Alex Padilla –
multi-millionaires who have dozens of attorneys in their pockets.  

 

Why we’re taking on the California Department of Health and Human Services –
an agency with over 33,000 employees. 

 

Well, this is why…

That’s right… 

 

The United States Surgeon General is now demanding that private corporations
hand over their data on “misinformation” sothey can determine who should be
punished on a national scale.  

 

Now, I’m certainly not defending Big Tech after everything they’ve done to
silence folks like you and me.  

 

But this proves what we’ve known, the authoritarian radical Left doesn’t care
about your rights… 

…it cares about its power.    

 

Sen. Alex Padilla and Twitter colluded to censor Rogan O’Handley when he
called for an audit of the 2020 elections after reports of rampant voter fraud.
   

 

Gavin Newsom deprived millions of Americas the basic rights to freely worship,
send your kids to the school of your choosing, and to publicly gather to
protest Newsom’s own failed policies.  

 

To this day, Newsom’s government agencies still refuse to let the public see
the “science” behind his draconian restrictions, despite California’s laws
requiring government transparency.  

 

And now, the Biden Administration is showing its authoritarian desires by
demanding that social media platforms hand over data on those who spread
“misinformation” on vaccines, masking, etc.  

 

But you and I both know that “misinformation” is a misnomer—it is a label the
Left applies to facts or ideas it disagrees with but cannot disprove.  

 

That’s why our lawsuits against Twitter, Sen. Alex Padilla, Gavin Newsom,
California’s Health and Human Services Department, and others are so critically
important, [-FIRSTNAME-].  

 

Because if we don’t stop these absurd First Amendment infringements at the
state level, the liberal establishment powerbrokers in Washington D.C. WILL
impose them on the entire country.

What’s worse is that after Biden’s surgeon general made the announcement, he
had the audacity to say that Big Tech companies had,“the opportunity to be open
and transparent with the American people about the misinformation on their
platforms.” 

 

As if we, the American people, don’t have the ability to think for ourselves
and make decisions for our own lives.  

 

As if we’re all dependent on Big Brother to keep us safe and docile like
sheep.  

 

And as if American companies – no matter how big or small – are subservient to
the egomaniacal agendas of corrupt politicians who have absolutely no interest
in serving our needs.  

 

You and I both know if the Biden Administration was truly interested in
“misinformation,” it would investigate Dr. Fauci and the CDC whose constantly
changing recommendations have been the impetus for the civil liberties crisis
that we are still fighting to emerge from.   

 

I hope that the Center for American Liberty can continue to count on your
support in these critical First Amendment legal battles, John.
