Report: Biden Hides Iran Plot to Assassinate John Bolton

The story claims “that prosecutors have enough evidence to indict two Iranians attached to the IRGC’s Quds force, but that the Biden administration has resisted filing public charges for fear that it could derail their ongoing effort to strike a nuclear deal with Tehran.”

Putin’s Former Economic Advisor: Putin is Nuclear Threat to “the Whole World”

Dr. Andrei Illarionov, who was Putin’s economic advisor for over five years, tells Salem host Sebastian Gorka “The only guarantee for peace in Europe and the world? That would be de-Putinization of Russia. Not only armistice, but it should be de-Putinization of Russia. Because as long as Mr. Putin is the head of Russia, the whole world is under threat of attack, including nuclear attack against the world.”

Biden Changes Tune on Helping Ukraine with Fighter Jets

But why? From the Wall Street Journal editorial board: What happened between Mr. Blinken’s endorsement and the Pentagon’s rejection? It’s hard not to conclude that the White House blinked for fear of provoking Mr. Putin, who is demanding that the West stop arming Ukraine. But NATO countries are already sending all sorts of weapons into Ukraine. Is a Polish MiG with a Ukrainian pilot somehow more provocative than a Turkish drone or an American antitank missile? Transferring planes isn’t the same as NATO aviators directly shooting down Russian jets (WSJ).  From another story: First, the planes never should have been discussed in public, if they truly intended to get them to Ukraine, because that compromised their security. It would have been important to keep it under wraps, at least until the planes were safely in Ukraine. First, huge fail in the process. On Sunday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the deal had the green light from the U.S. Then Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said it was a no-go, contradicting Blinken. Kirby said this was not a “tenable” idea (RedState).

Russia Now Admits Use of Vacuum Bombs Against Ukrainian People

From the story: The British Ministry of Defense tweeted on Wednesday, “The Russian MoD has confirmed the use of the TOS-1A weapon system in Ukraine. The TOS-1A uses thermobaric rockets, creating incendiary and blast effects.” Marco Rubio tweeted “#Russia has now deployed TOS-1 launchers to the outskirts of heavily populated areas …  Thermobaric weapons against civilian targets have zero military purpose … It would be a war crime aimed at terrorizing & slaughtering people into submission” (Daily Wire). Meanwhile, more on the story of the woman and her two children who were killed trying to flee (NY Times).

Biden Killed the Keystone Pipeline for Good

The developer of the project said it is dead and much of the equipment has been sold.  From the story: Others, speaking on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the sale, told the Washington Examiner parts were sold for 30% less than the asking price. If Keystone XL were to restart, it would mean rehiring workers, buying back pricey equipment, setting up housing, dealing with environmentalists opposed to the drilling, and getting small businesses burned by Biden’s decision to agree to reinvest in virtual ghost towns (Washington Examiner). A video montage shows Biden clearly knew his policies would cause a spike in gas prices and he was proud of that fact (Twitter). From Jerry Bowyer: The variable is oil prices. 2008 invasion of Georgia; 2014 annexation of Crimea and now the 2022 war against Ukraine, all followed upon oil price spikes. Russia is a Petro-state. The most powerful way to change the calculus for Putin is to starve the Russian state of revenues by simply unleashing American energy ingenuity. Oil is now at nosebleed high levels. If we can drive it down, we can drive down Putin’s ability to feed his war machine (Townhall Review).

Elon Musk Condemns Woke Trend in Corporate America

From the story: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria are “a set of standards for a company’s operations that socially conscious investors use to screen potential investments,” according to Investopedia. For instance, a company may emphasize its use of green energy, association with LGBTQ suppliers, or otherwise arrange its operations such that producing shareholder value is inseparable from a leftist agenda.

J.K. Rowling Blisters Suggestion She Cave to Save Her Reputation

Rowling was considered of the left until the trans community insisted a man who says he’s a woman is, in fact, a woman.  So recently a tweet asked Rowling “You really want your legacy to die on this hill, @jk_rowling?” Her response: Yes, sweetheart. I’m staying right here on this hill, defending the right of women and girls to talk about themselves, their bodies and their lives in any way they **** well please. You worry about your legacy, I’ll worry about mine.
