| Hey friend, it’s Doris. Yesterday was International Women’s day! Yesterday provided an important opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made together and the work we still need to get done. Since I came to Congress, I’ve had the privilege of watching trailblazing women break barriers in public service, business, and everywhere in between. Just last year, the number of women running businesses on the Fortune 500 hit an all-time high, and a record number of women are serving this Congress. With this increased representation, we’ve passed legislation like the Lily Ledbetter Act to help create equality for women. We can recognize these important milestones without losing sight of the fact that our work is never done. Across the country women in Congress, including myself, are being targeted by conservative candidates that want to undo what we’ve achieved. Your donation can help make sure that doesn’t happen.
