John,
When Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is confirmed to the Supreme Court, she’ll make history, and our highest court will – at long last – better reflect our country’s diversity.
Judge Jackson is a qualified and brilliant legal mind. I’m ready to see her take a seat as the first Black woman Supreme Court Justice. But I also know that this historic nomination alone is not enough to ensure working families and communities of color like mine have a voice in our government.
As a leader in the fight for equal representation both in my community and in Congress, I am proud to see President Biden take this step forward. And I’m ready to continue this work. Will you join me?
This year is an election year, and as I endorse candidates up and down the ballot and work to hold our Democrat majorities in the House and Senate, I’m doing what I can to elect a government that looks more like America.
Our communities deserve leaders who know first-hand the challenges they face and who will fight to deliver real progress for them. Your donation today will help me as I run my own re-election campaign and as I continue working to elect diverse progressive champions.
Thank you,
Chuy
