Campaign finance reports have revealed that Republicans in Texas have accepted millions of dollars from the oil and gas industry. And, take a look at this:
“Unsurprisingly, Gov. Greg Abbott (R) … is by far the largest beneficiary of the industry’s political giving. His campaign accepted more than $12 million in political contributions from oil and gas companies and executives this election cycle.”
More than $12 million!
It’s no wonder Greg Abbott isn’t cracking down on price gouging by oil and gas companies — their money is financing his campaign.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton : $562,201
All of these Texas Republicans are deep in the pocket of big oil, and we can’t afford to let them continue using our state for political gain.
