Instead of toying with oil from foreign nations, President Biden must free the U.S. energy industry.                                                  

Hi friend,   Yesterday, President Joe Biden announced that the United States will be banning imports of Russian oil and gas into the country as a result of Russia’s invasion into Ukraine. A U.S. ban on Russian oil is a strong condemnation of the horrors that Russia is inflicting upon the Ukrainian people. But because oil is a world market, and Russia exports only a small amount to the U.S., it is unlikely that such a ban will inflict any real economic harm.  Instead of toying with oil from foreign nations, President Biden and his administration must free the U.S. energy industry by encouraging increased production as well as reinstating projects like the Keystone XL pipeline, which would have provided more oil in a carbon neutral way.  RESTORE U.S. ENERGY After announcing a ban on Russian oil imports, the Biden administration is looking to Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and Iran for oil. We must stop relying on hostile nations to fulfill our crucial energy needs.  There is no downside to expanding U.S. energy production — economically, politically, or environmentally. In order to secure America’s energy needs and ease the pain Americans are experiencing at the pump, the administration must free the industry from Biden’s “green” chokehold and plan for the long term.
