John,
We’re excited to endorse two more Working Families champions running for Congress — Rana Abdelhamid, running in New York’s 12th Congressional District, and Brittany Ramos DeBarros, running to represent Staten Island and western Brooklyn in NY-11.
The road to building a working families majority in Congress runs through New York State, but with primaries coming up in June, we need to do everything we can to get Rana and Brittany elected. Can you split a contribution between Rana’s campaign, Brittany’s campaign, and our Working Families Majority Fund to help build the organizing power we’ll need to send them to Congress?

The reality is that there are still too many Democratic members of Congress beholden to the interests of real-estate developers, Wall Street executives, and CEOs. But we’ve shown that when we come together, we can take on the status quo and elect community-backed candidates to Congress in New York and across the country.
The daughter of working-class immigrants, Rana Abdelhamid understands the devastating impacts of rising rents, low wages, and education inequities in NY-12. We know she will fight to level the playing field for everyday New Yorkers so no one has to work multiple jobs or skip a utility bill to survive.
Brittany Ramos DeBarros is a community organizer and combat veteran, whose experiences have shaped her belief that all New Yorkers deserve to live their lives free of violence — including economic, racial, and environmental violence. Running in a newly redrawn district currently held by a Republican, Brittany has a real shot at flipping this seat and heading to Congress as a working families champion.
Both Rana and Brittany are ready to join the growing team of WFP candidates and champions in Congress to keep up the fight for our progressive agenda. But we know that corporate Democrats and Republicans alike are going to put up a tough fight to preserve the status quo. That’s why it’s so important we continue electing progressives to seats like these.
We’re ready to get to work — but our plans depend on WFP supporters like you. Split a contribution between Rana’s campaign, Brittany’s campaign, and our Working Families Majority Fund to help us elect more progressive champions to Congress in 2022.
