Summer has overcome challenges before. Now, we have to do it again.

Justice Democrats

John,

Late last year, we were right by Summer Lee’s side as she launched her campaign for Congress. Just a few weeks ago, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court split the communities Summer currently represents in the PA State House in two.

The new map carved Summer’s home out of the district she was running in by just a few feet. Now, Summer’s running in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District and we’re rallying behind her to keep her organizing program as strong as ever. The PA Supreme Court decision set off a sprint to collect petition signatures before March 15 so Summer can qualify for the ballot. Team Summer has been working tirelessly, amassing thousands of signatures so far.

Then, it’s another sprint to the May primary.

John, we need your help right now to power Summer’s campaign amidst these big challenges. Can you split a $3 contribution to Summer’s campaign and Justice Democrats today to fuel Summer to victory in May?

Contribute $3

The movement behind Summer and Justice Democrats has overcome so many challenges, but we continue our fight. What happened to Summer’s district — her home and communities divided, splitting up the very precinct and block she lives on — is another serious challenge that we’ll have to overcome. We know there are barriers to Black women and working-class candidates of color running grassroots campaigns for political office. But together, we are strong enough to win.

We have a lot of work to do in all of our remaining primaries, but Summer’s race in Pennsylvania this May is the very next election. Summer needs your support if she’s going to scale up, get the signatures she needs to get on the ballot, and win this race. Can you split a donation to Summer and Justice Democrats today to fuel us to victory in PA-12?

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
