Back again with an update on the DCCC’s 2022 Frontline Program List. Today, we’re spotlighting two of our members on the East Coast: Rep. Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-03).

The GOP is specifically targeting districts in which Trump held a slight edge in 2020 and is utilizing Trumpism to recapture the House. Rep. Andy Kim represents one of those districts and with the GOP’s strong showing in New Jersey’s gubernatorial race last year, Republicans are more empowered than ever. It’s not surprising we are seeing a spike in Republicans seeking office in 2022 throughout New Jersey!

Just a few states over in New Hampshire, Rep. Chris Pappas is also facing a tough challenge in this year's election. Recently, New Hampshire’s GOP approved a map that would dramatically redraw the state’s two congressional districts, making the Representative’s district more conservative and Republican-leaning. Currently facing 7 Republican challengers, two of whom are former Trump Administration officials, this race is going to be hotly contested.
