MESSAGE
FROM CATHERINE
Dear John,
Every day I hear from residents who
are concerned about crime in our city. In fact, the San Francisco
Chronicle reported that burglaries have increased
citywide over the last three years, and despite this increase, overall
conviction rates are down. This is unacceptable.
While I
will never stop fighting for a fully staffed police department and
expanded foot patrols, I know we need to do more. That’s why I’m
launching an Anti-Burglary Neighborhood Network to connect neighbors,
share community safety resources, offer preventative break-in tips,
and give residents direct access to the public safety resources and
information they need.
Join me for the webinar launch of the
Anti-Burglary Neighborhood Network on March 30th at
11:00am to hear from the SFPD and community safety leaders.
We will hear about current trends, existing community services, and
discuss ways we can help each other. Click
here to register.
Panelists
include:
- Captain Gaetano Caltagirone,
Richmond Station
- Captain Derrick Jackson, Northern
Station
- Lt Doug Farmer, Acting Captain,
Central Station
- SF SAFE, Kyra Worthy
- Mark Dietrich, Stop Richmond

If you are unable
to join us live, a recording will be made available on my
Facebook page and Youtube
channel.
I hope to see you
there!
Warm
Regards, Catherine
