John Delaney for President

Dear Friend,

I hope you're having a wonderful July 4th with your friends and family. I've spent the holiday in New Hampshire, talking to voters at parades, picnics and barbeques and I've been blessed to have April with me on this trip.

I wanted to send you a short note today before the day ends and the fireworks go off, because there really is no day like Independence Day.

As we all celebrate today, let's never forget what this holiday is about: celebrating the values of freedom, dignity, and unity, that have made our country so great for 243 years. It's time to restore those principles to the White House. That's what my campaign is all about, bringing the country together, making sure that every one in every zip code and every state has a chance to live the American Dream and bringing trust and decency back to politics.

We wouldn't be where we are today without the countless individuals, from all backgrounds, who sacrificed for our freedom, who marched for the rights of others and who made sure that our nation pursued a more perfect union, with liberty and justice for all.

That's what July 4th is all about - celebrating our freedoms and recommitting ourselves to the pursuit of happiness, for everyone.

Happy Fourth of July!

John
