Dick Durbin

John,

I am sure you share my feelings about the tragedy happening right now in Ukraine.

I have visited cities in Ukraine where Russian bombs are now falling on innocent civillians. Ukrainians are losing their lives and fleeing their homes because of this unprovoked invasion.

I am doing everything I can to ensure my colleagues in Congress swifty approve emergency military and humanitarian assistance for Ukraine. But you can also support Ukraine right now.

My friend, José Andrés, and his World Central Kitchen, a non-profit that provides food in response to humanitarian crises, is on the ground in Ukraine. Will you make a contribution of $5 or anything you can afford to support their efforts to feed Ukrainian refugees?

An estimated one million people–mostly women, children, and seniors–have fled Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, and are seeking safety in nearby countries. In support of refugees escaping the violence, World Central Kitchen has been serving hot, nourishing meals in Poland.

The courage and unity of Ukranians in the face of Putin’s barbarity is inspiring the world, including me. That’s why I’m asking you to join me in standing up for the people of Ukraine.

Contribute $5 or anything you can afford right now to support World Central Kitchen’s efforts to feed Ukrainian refugees.

My best,

Dick Durbin
