John,

The Colorado Turnout Project was formed in January 2021 following the horrific Jan. 6 Capitol riot. We saw then that the Right intended to disrupt, overthrow, and otherwise unfairly invalidate democratic elections, and knew we needed to do something to fight back.

Our approach is to target the Republican-held districts in Colorado, with a special focus on Lauren Boebert, and to work to ensure that an authentic progressive wins in the new tossup 8th District created late last year. We produce digital ads, including our video denouncing Boebert that was viewed on Facebook nearly 1 million times, and support groups on the ground registering voters and turning out voters who value the rule of law and democratic process.

To date, our support from digital sources has been extraordinary. We have raised over $115,000 from grassroots supporters online, totaling 4,784 unique contributions. And take a look at our average contribution from donors through ActBlue:
This is a true grassroots effort to push back against the dishonesty, divisiveness, and anti-democratic tactics of the extremists who have taken over the Republican Party.

And we have more action and activity in the works—a new video that will motivate more donors nationwide to pay attention to the crucial House races in Colorado, including the Tossup 8th District, and other projects to expose the fascists attempting to wrest control of Colorado away from the people. Can you help keep up our momentum with a contribution of our average donation amount—$23—or even more to fight back now and throughout this midterm election?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

The Colorado Turnout Project strives to always produce smart, targeted, and substantively interesting digital outreach that cuts through the nonsense.

Thank you for joining the team and helping fight back against anti-democratic extremism.
