As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we’d like to take a moment to honor the women throughout our nation’s history who came before us and acknowledge the work that we have left to achieve gender equality for all.

Women in politics often face gender bias and discrimination in powerful institutions, also known as the “old boys club.”

Ashley broke barriers by being the only woman to graduate in her Apache class and served in the U.S. Army as an Apache helicopter pilot. By carving her own path, she learned the values of integrity and leadership. And she learned to take on tough fights and beat the odds against her.

That’s why we need women with diverse backgrounds and experiences in leadership roles at all levels of government. If elected, Ashley will be the first woman to represent PA-01.
