The Center is a home for everyone to build friendships, find comfort and refuge in an unjust world, and celebrate our amazing community. We do this with the support of Center Members, whose generosity has made a difference for nearly 40 years.

80% of Center Members say their primary motivation to give is to sustain our crucial work.
This past year, more than 400 LGBTQ young people accessed our social support and counseling programs, internships, and academic and workforce development opportunities.
In the last 24 months, we’ve provided over 38,000 counseling sessions for people ages 13 and up, to help them navigate the road to recovery from alcohol and substance use.
Our Front Desk information and resource team responded to over 8,000 phone calls, online chats, emails, and in-person visitors seeking guidance, support, and care throughout the pandemic.
We’ve worked to pass more than 10 legislative bills that help secure greater legal protections for LGBTQ New Yorkers through RiseOut, our statewide advocacy initiative.
Our team of patient navigators helped nearly 2,000 LGBTQ New Yorkers access coverage and affirming health care.
As New York’s LGBTQ arts and culture hub, more than 2,500 people attended dozens of in-person and virtual events to connect with, learn from, and celebrate alongside notable figures from the worlds of academia, politics, and the performing and fine arts.
The dedication of our Center Members makes all of this—and so much more—possible! We know that we are better when we work together, whether creating safe spaces, inspiring artistic expression, or activating community power to address the issues that we collectively face.
