Hi there,

On January 6th, 2021, a mob of right-wing extremists stormed the United States Capitol in a Donald Trump-inspired attempt to overturn the results of our free and fair election. We were together in the House gallery that day, crouched below balcony walls to hide from rioters as we listened to gunshots outside the House Chamber.

We believe the American people deserve answers on the circumstances that led to the events of that day, which is why we voted to form an independent commission dedicated to investigating how and why the insurrection happened.

Last week, the commission shared initial findings indicating that former President Trump and his allies engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the American public. Further, their evidence indicates Trump violated multiple laws in his attempt to overturn the results of the presidential election.

We are committed to defending the future of our democracy to ensure we never see another violent insurrection like January 6th. If you can, we hope you will consider making a split contribution to our campaigns today so that we have the resources to stay in Congress and continue this crucial work.
