From the moment I announced that I was running for Governor, I knew this fight was going to be tough. Heck, I had the gall to launch my campaign in a state that political pundits have practically written off for Democrats!

In the months that followed our kickoff, this movement has grown beyond my belief and has given me hope that good governance has a fighting chance at winning in Arkansas.

Throughout these next 8 months, our campaign will continue to champion people-based solutions to the issues that matter most. Here’s what I mean by that:

For families that have trouble paying their bills at the end of the month, we’re going to introduce more good-paying, secure jobs.

For kids that have to do research for their homework but can’t access the internet, we’re going to expand broadband access to all corners of the state.

For parents that have to pick and choose when to send their kids to the doctor because health care isn’t in their budget, we’re going to make coverage more accessible and affordable.

In 8 months, Arkansans will have the choice between a sleepy agenda that falls short of change, or our agenda that has actual people-based solutions for working folks across our state.

I’m ready to continue to give this fight everything I’ve got until then but folks, I’m going to need your help.
