A Note from Chrissy

Representing you is the greatest responsibility of my lifetime – one that I do not take lightly. From inflation to foreign policy, it’s my job to make sure you are safe and have the resources you need to thrive. This month, I tackled a lot – so I want to loop you in on some updates from my office:

Advocated for Ukraine

By invading sovereign Ukrainian territory and attempting to rewrite history, Putin has shown us who he is. He has shown us that he is poised for further aggression and that he seeks to undermine democracy in Europe. We must take him at his (dangerous) word. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee, I am working to ensure that Putin's premeditated and unprovoked act of aggression against Ukraine cannot go unpunished.

Founded an Inflation Working Group

Together with my colleagues, I’ve started a working group to tackle the runaway inflation we’re dealing with in this country. We’re committed to finding actionable policy-based solutions that will help lower high costs and shore up supply chains. Passed the Postal Service Reform Act

Millions of Americans rely on the U.S. Postal Service to deliver lifesaving medication, Social Security checks, messages from far-off loved ones, and more. But the USPS has been in crisis – and up until now, we haven’t done much to change this situation. This month, I voted to pass the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act to help the USPS provide high-quality service and save taxpayers money.

Supporting Local Businesses

This month, we celebrated #NationalEntrepreneursWeek, and it was a strong reminder of the impact entrepreneurs’ creativity and innovation have on our country. If we want to continue to build back better, we need to support small businesses – so I’m proud to have introduced the bipartisan RAMP for Innovators Act to give our entrepreneurs opportunities to grow.

That’s it for this month, but stay tuned for more updates on my fight for working families in the Commonwealth and across the nation.

And, while it's somewhat out of the ordinary in Washington, I take time every week to call back constituents who've contacted our office. These conversations keep me grounded in the most urgent issues facing our community. I’d love to hear from you, too!

There is work to be done.

– Chrissy

While Chrissy is focused on delivering progress in the House, fundraising is the last thing on her mind. But the GOP is already eyeing our critical battleground – and amid Republican gerrymandering, the GOP just named Chrissy one of their top targets for a blue-to-red flip. We must strengthen our resources early to make sure we can defend this purple district come November – so we’re asking for her:

Will you make a donation to help reelect Chrissy to Congress? Your support will make such a difference in our work to defend this critical Pennsylvania seat and keep the House blue.
