Today – and all throughout Women's History Month – we're celebrating the trailblazing women who dedicated their lives to fighting for the rights we hold dearly and who made history.

We’re also celebrating the next wave of women who are running for office to shape the future of Iowa and our country: women like Abby.

Right now, she's on the brink of shattering another glass ceiling here in Iowa. If Abby defeats Sen. Grassley (R-IA), she'll become the youngest woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate. 

This isn't the first glass ceiling that Abby's shattered. At only 25, she won a seat in the Iowa State House and then, just four years later, became the youngest woman to flip a U.S. House seat from red to blue. Not to mention, within just two weeks of being in office, she also became the youngest woman to pass a bill through the U.S. House.

All along the way, she's fought for women's rights and equality – defending our right to choose, pushing for equal pay and doubling funding for endometriosis, a condition that affects 1 in 10 women.
