It’s Dana Balter — and I have some exciting news to share with you! I’m endorsing Josh Riley for Congress in New York’s 22nd Congressional District, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting his grassroots campaign!

As the two-time Democratic nominee in this region, I know that Josh has the right combination of progressive values and practical experience to deliver results for working families in a divided Congress.

I wasn’t planning on endorsing anyone in this race, but Josh is an extraordinary candidate. His record of fighting for the things that matter most–from improving access to health care for children and people with mental health conditions to defending workers’ rights to a decent wage and family leave to protecting our freedom to vote–tells me that Josh is the champion we need in Congress.

Josh needs our help to win. Why? Because winning a Democratic primary here isn’t easy–trust me, I know! It takes a lot of effort, dedicated volunteers, and yes, a lot of resources.

I didn’t accept any corporate PAC money in either of my successful campaigns for the Democratic nomination, and Josh isn’t taking any either. He’s relying on grassroots support just like I did. I was honored to have such a strong base of grassroots supporters, and I know Josh is too.
