John,
Today on International Women’s Day, as we celebrate women’s achievement I’m reminded how much of an honor it is to lead Josh’s campaign. Campaigns are notoriously an “old boys network” and I’m so proud Josh does it differently. Here I am, a young latina woman running one of the most competitive campaigns in the nation - a feat that would have been unheard of a few years ago.
And I’m happy to share that this change doesn’t stop with just me - our campaign team is one of the most diverse in the country. That’s not a coincidence. Josh knows that if we want our politics to be inclusive, our campaign hiring needs to be as well.
Because of you we were able to hire our Latino Constituency Director earlier than ever before, and our finance team, run by the incredible Kierra and her deputy Julie, is one of the top performing grassroots teams in the country.
Working with such a diverse team means we’re literally changing politics as we know it. And by not taking corporate PAC money, we’re also changing the funding streams. It’s a BIG DEAL. If you support this kind of important change, I hope that you’ll rush in a donation for our movement today.

I’ve worked on a lot of campaigns before, and I can tell you that not all of them operate like Josh’s. Leadership starts at the top, and Josh made it very clear to me he wanted to do things differently. That has allowed us to build a different template for our grassroots movement - one that includes all voices - to keep one of the most competitive seats in the country blue.
Women and diverse communities are the foundation of this campaign - from our staff, to our donors, to our supporters on the ground. And to continue building this movement we rely on you all to make sure we have the resources to win.
Will you please rush in a donation today to help us keep up this important work through our canvassing, social media and Latino organizing programs?
P.S. I can’t wait to show Kevin McCarthy that a female-led campaign was the one that stopped him from taking the Speaker’s gavel this November!
