Hi friends,
Today is International Women’s Day!
On this special day, I would like to take a moment to celebrate the everyday women that have always gotten things done – but that go unsung.
Let’s celebrate all the working moms who go to work every single day – and also get the kids to school on time, pick them up, help with homework, take them to soccer practice, and so many other important things in a child’s life.
Let’s celebrate all the women who start their own businesses with less money than their male counterparts – yet they persevere and succeed.
Let’s celebrate all the women in the developing world who work just as hard to uplift their countries and families as women in America, France, or England – but whose stories do not make the evening news or become viral social media moments.
Let’s celebrate all the women – but specifically today, let’s honor the unsung heroes of this world that keep our families together, that keep our businesses running, and truly hold up half the world.
Happy International Women’s Day! I hope today you take a moment to reflect on that unsung hero in your life and honor them for all they do.
Thank you,
Stacey Plaskett
