Dear John,
Many of you may know that I am running in California’s new 6th congressional district . Much of my current district is included in this new Sacramento County district, but there are many new voters I need to reach out to introduce myself. That’s why I am ramping up my campaign fundraising to ensure we reach these voters with our message.
Along with my Democratic colleagues in Congress, I have fought hard to pass major legislation during one of the most difficult periods in our nation’s history, from pandemic relief to infrastructure, we have been focused on helping where it is needed most.
Now, if you can help early on this year and contribute $10, $15, or $25, that will go a long way in getting our message out to new voters before November.

It is more important than ever to hold onto the House and congressional districts like mine all across the country. Redistricting in many states outside of California are littered with gerrymandering, where Republican-controlled state legislatures are making it nearly impossible for Americans to exercise their most fundamental right–to vote.
And as many of you may know, I am also the Frontline chair for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). I am responsible for maintaining our majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and protecting vulnerable Democratic incumbents.
