I am excited to announce the 2022 Congressional Art Competition!
Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our congressional district.
This year, I invite all current high school students in the 34th Congressional District of California to participate in the competition. The first-place entry will be displayed for a year in the U.S. Capitol alongside the other contest winners from across the country. The second-place entry will be displayed in my Washington, D.C. office and the "People's Choice" award will be displayed in my district offices. The deadline for submissions is April 8, 2022 at 5:00pm PT.
