It didn’t have to be this way.

Whether we are talking about historically high inflation, $5/gallon gasoline, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the disastrous pull-out of Afghanistan, relaxed border policies…or a host of other issues that are affecting our way of life. Make no mistake, these things aren’t just happening on Joe Biden’s watch, they are happening BECAUSE OF Joe Biden’s policies.

Our friend Ned Ryun wrote a great piece in American Greatness that appeared in our First Right newsletter this morning. He reminds us that on the first day of his administration Joe Biden purposely gave away our energy independence by shutting down the Keystone pipeline among other “woke energy” actions. And things have just gotten worse from there.

Joe Biden (or what is left of him) and his team are not victims of circumstance. This stuff isn’t just happening around them. They are causing all of this.

So as you see your local newscasts trying to blame gas prices on the Russian invasion of Ukraine or refusing to cover the reasons why Fentanyl that slipped through our southern border is killing people in communities throughout our country or trying to explain away the high cost of everything…remember who actually caused all of this.

We’re not going to tell you that the United States was perfect before Joe Biden took office. But it’s impossible to argue that it wasn’t a whole lot better. And it’s also impossible to argue that the current state of things is anyone’s fault but Biden’s.
