We have some exciting news to share, John. Odessa Kelly is relaunching her campaign for Congress, and is now running in Tennessee's 7th District.

Earlier this year, congressional maps were redrawn to break up the progressive stronghold of Nashville in order to form house districts that favor Republicans. We won’t sugarcoat it, this race will be tougher by design. But Odessa won’t back down from a challenge, and neither will we.

We’ve set a goal of 500 individual grassroots contributions before the day is over to support Odessa’s relaunch. Can we count on you to split a contribution today between Odessa Kelly’s campaign for Congress and Justice Democrats?

Racist politicians use gerrymandering to institutionally disenfranchise Black, brown, and low-income voters, and ensure their interests aren’t represented in Congress. Nashville voters need a fighter more than ever, which is why Odessa is relaunching her Congressional campaign in TN-07.
