Folks —

Everything I do is rooted in improving the lives of New Mexicans and people across the country.

Recently, I traveled around New Mexico to celebrate our wins — like the new Outdoor Equity Initiative at Doña Ana Village that gives more kids opportunities to get outside, and the grand opening of the clean power Western Spirit Wind Project in Central New Mexico.

I discussed ways we can make our state and country better, too — talking with New Mexico educators about how we can take a two-generation approach to help children and families living in poverty succeed in education and have more economic opportunities, and learning from the research and advancements in preventing pollution at the University of New Mexico to build on my national efforts to cut methane, one of the biggest drivers of the climate crisis.

I’m also hard at work to continue the successes President Biden touched on during his first State of the Union address — from record job creation to the fastest economic growth we’ve seen in decades. We have the once-in-a-generation opportunity to take action to address climate change and cut down everyday costs like household energy, healthcare, childcare, and more — and I look forward to working with my colleagues and President Biden to make that happen.

But I want to make sure I hear all of your priorities for the months ahead, too. Can you take just a few minutes to share what’s on your mind? You can take our campaign’s priorities survey below: [[link removed]]
