There’s just one week until the March 15th application deadline for the 2022 Democracy Summer Himes for Congress Fellowship, and I wanted to encourage you to share this with high school or college students looking for campaign opportunities.
 
Fellows in this program will not only learn from Democratic leaders, activists, policy experts, and top political and community organizers across the country, but they’ll get hands-on experience as integral members of my team.
 
From June 20th to July 31st, Himes for Congress Democracy Summer Fellows will receive in-depth practical training in all aspects of a campaign including:
 
·      Campaign messaging
·      Field organizing
·      Voter contact
·      Text banking
·      Policy development and research
·      Social media and digital strategy
·      Campaign management
·      Fundraising
·      Event planning and organizing
·      Voter engagement
