We don’t know yet who will challenge Lizzie because there is a runoff in the Republican primary for TX-07, but we will know after the runoff election. And we know whoever it is will fight hard. For more than a year, we have seen national groups attacking Lizzie, and we are still seeing new attacks this week.
We are unafraid and undeterred. And we are wasting no time in shifting our focus to the general election in November so we can send Lizzie back to the House and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Texas.
Early returns and information from the Tuesday election show us that we can win in November, but we have to do the work to get the results we want. We have a lot of voters to talk to, to persuade, and to turn out. And we will need your help in doing it. Watch this space for ways you can help!
